80’s party yesterday. Some drinking action occured. I’ve been told I started running. Fast. Very fast. Of course, I eventually fell. Now both my lips are ruined and I look severly beaten up. Stupid, stupid. Thanks to Sasan and Taoufik who brought me home safely!

I’m off for Tunisia::Monastair tomorrow morning with 7 other students from my class. Will be fun, hoping to dive a lot. 7-day trip, 1048NOK. Not bad. Au revoir!

Had my first flight on VATSIM today! Hooray! Whee, it was fun. Been wanting to join in for a least 4 months, and finally, after reading lots of documents on how to behave, and procedures and maps, I had my first go. And I liked it! I’m a “virtual pilot” for Scandinavian Airlines, and can only fly the Fokker 50 now. After 20 air-hours I can go to the smaller jets. Man, am I glad automn is arriving. Hoping for lots of bad weather.

Ok, had 4 flights tonight, the last 3 with ATC online. Torp-Stavanger, Stockholm-Torp, Oslo-Gothenburg. All in the F50. :-)

Ordered a Radeon 9800Pro (and some fans, for the added heat) card yesterday, so I can use Microsoft FlightSim 9. Hopefully getting it tomorrow.

Hans Petter Jansson brought me my salary from Abargon with him from Mexico, when he came visiting last week. He also brought me some excellent coffe. He’s nice, I like Hans Petter.

Haven’t been online to FIX much lately. They are having a sysop election, and I’m not running, being one of the original sysops. I really have nothing to offer being a sysop anymore, so I feel it’s time to step down. Not that I _ever_ had anything to offer… Oh well.

Man, le Tour de France is the greatest reality TV show I can imagine.

I’ve been out biking reasonably frequently lately, inspired by TDF. I can’t believe how fast they bike. I can hardly manage an average speed of 30kmph on distances under 40km. An they do 50kmph for 50km!

Gramma (Mormor) has finally been approved for a permanent stay in an old folks home. She really could’nt stay home any longer. We had to be around 24h. One day my Mum left home for 30 minutes, and when she came back a neighbour had found her lying in the bushes outside the house (and she can hardly walk), screaming for help.

Our new flat in Oslo is great. Astrid and Regis lives there now. It’s in downtown Oslo, and close to everything. Perfect. THe best thing: It has an underground garage.

Sailing r0xrz. The old sails on our Fabola Campus needs replacement, tho. They are badly out of shape, and it makes sailing optimaly a bit difficult.

I remember nothing but bad memories.

10:45: Went to the dentist. Was 4 minutes late. Got in at 11:07. Three x-rays. I should prepare myself for a false front teeth some day. My other teeth are healty and kickn’.

11:35: Bought flower for my former land lady in Oslo. Will go there tomorrow to pick up my stuff.

11:50: Home. Beautiful day. Blue sky. +13. Windy. Leafs falling off the trees. Niceness. Feel like laying in the couch reading for some hours. Will do that now.

Ok. So I’m done with my civil service. It was okay. I’ll miss the 08-16 work hours. The stability.
