If I ever should start believing in a new life after death I want to be an Alien (as in AvP, etc). Preferably in Mexico City. As the only Alien. And I hope the alien-evolution has taken care of all this slime dropping stuff. I mean, so I want be traceable. Then I would be King in Town. I would like that.

Today was friday. With the obligatory barbeque and beer. I like fridays. We also went to see a couple of houses, as we need to get a new office. Found one place, not perfect, but nice.

Walked home from job. Raining steadily. Got wet on my feet. (I was using an umbrella.) I felt really amused when this car drove by, splashing water all over me. I almost laughed out loud. One of these days, I suppose.

Enabled query logging on one of our DNSes today. Turns out it handles more than 100k hits in 12 hours. With peaks at least up to 30/seconds. I can’t help loveing stuff like that.

Actually been working the last days. A lot. This multipage-registration-system was needed on a site we’re doing. Took me a bit more time than I expected it to take. But, I’m incompetent, so I should of course have expected it to do so.

Yay! House party with Matrix theme tomorrow. It’d better be good. And better have a lot of latex dressed women!

And I need to get my laptop fixed! @#!@ I really miss it. (It’s eating hard drives. Destroyed a couple of them already.)

Sunday has a tradition (very fresh, but getting there) of becoming the Basket Day of The Week. Where we go play basket in a park nearby. But looks like there will be no basket today. Hans Petter needs to “work”. And Paul is out of town.

Breakfast today was pizza with milk. Lala milk. Real milk. It makes my brain spin controlably, It seems like. If I just had my laptop, I’m sure I could get tons of work done. (Right.)

I would love to have an appartement in the Barcelona (Spain) area. I promise free beer if anyone could arrange that. Looks like an ok place to start sailing from.

Yesterday we did a live web broadcast for El Sitio at El Rimel. 4 cameras, satelite link. Fun stuff. The video departement at Simplemente rwlz. Good job.

Good day, mentally. Can’t remember last time I was in such a good mood. Even planned a trip to the beach next weekend. Went to the movies with Rune and Monica. Saw a really good movie.

Today I had to go to a customer to Do Stuff. The chauffeur that picked me up (and drove me back) crossed himself several times before starting the car. Both times. Kind of … scary.

Ah. Moving stuff to the new colo-server finished. Finally. I think today is get-drunk-on-whiskey-day. Or maybe spend the evening at the movies instead. Hm. Wait. It’s already too late for that. Oh well.

Puh! Hard week. Lots and lots of stuff to be done. And lots of new projects. SLeeps like a rock these days. And I am sleeping in a room with a window to Xola, yes. (Heavy-traffic road in Mexico City.)

So. New office. Temporary. 5th floor. No elevator. Moving was hard work.

Things are looking much better. I’m having good days. Lot’s of new interesting projects.

Today was barbeque day. Nice stuff. The only thing missing now is returning my broken HD to Toshiba, and hopefully get a new one. And I also have to go to the beach, of course. Should be doable soon.

So. Last week I regretted, several times, that I’ve not been keeping track of what I’ve done, at what time. So I figured out it was about time I started doing so.

Yesterday Rune, Monica and me went to se M:i2 at WTC. After the movie we went to this italian resturant close by. Very nice indeed.

Looks like Vicente Fox from PAN (no, not from PRI) will be the next mexican president. Interesting.
